One of the biggest incorrect advice is feeding commercially produced foods. These products are usually extremely high in protein (Very bad for tortoise) or contain foodstuffs unnatural to your tortoise.
 
However PRE ALPIN® TESTUDO ORIGINAL is different. This product is straight from Germany the Upper Bavarian meadows. This Product is high in fibre and low in protein (exactly what you need). This is a product I regularly use with my adults and my hatchlings. 
Its recommended by keepers, breeders and zoos in the U.K. In my main picture I have one of my 1 month old hatchlings with 1 pellet I have soaked in warm water as they expand. In another picture one of my adult females getting a big mouthful.
Great to mix with your weeds (pictured) . 
 
This is what we do with ours, we mix this with our weeds. We also find this helps the calcium powder and vitamins stick to weeds, as seen in pictures.
 
This product also makes a great Winter feed. This should not be the only part of your tortoise diet, it should be a part of a mixed healthy diet.

We highly recommend storing this product away from moisture and humidity. As moisture activates this prouduct and it will spoil. An air tight tub / container is what we use once opened.
